K3 Retail retains its Gold status

K3 Retail, the UK’s leading provider of retail solutions based on Microsoft technology, has become the first ever retail software business to retain its Investors in People Gold status.

As an accreditation, the Gold standard is awarded to just 3.2%* of Investors in People accredited organisations. It is extremely hard to achieve and even tougher to retain. It has a huge influence on many areas of the K3 Retail business, from strengthening industry relationships to attracting new colleagues.

Russell Dorset, Managing Director of K3 Retail says “Our unparalleled experience and knowledge has resulted in many retailers trusting us to lead their technology business transformation projects, including the likes of Kiddicare, Smiffy’s and English Heritage. This has been recognised by the market and numerous experts want to join us to further their careers with the leading Microsoft Dynamics partner in the UK.”

Dorset continued, “I am immensely proud of our team at K3. We work in partnership with our customers to deliver truly outstanding results. Our business ethos is built upon our core values – excellence and integrity, which is in our DNA. But it’s our people who make this business a real success and here at K3 Retail we look to recognise, nurture and reward the talented people in our team, which is why we are the UK’s No 1 Microsoft Dynamics partner.”

The Gold award has been awarded to fewer than 700* organisations in the country, and celebrates those that perform beyond the core Investors in People Standard. The Standard provides a solid foundation for further growth and development and is awarded to well-run organisations which meet set criteria, including learning and development, leadership skills and recognition and reward of staff amongst others.

John Telfer, Managing Director of Investors in People South, said, “Congratulations to K3 Retail on retaining Investors in People Gold. They are a company that is genuinely focused on business improvement and this shines through in the way that they really listen to their staff and encourage them to come up with new ideas. The current economic climate makes it even more important that an organisation adapts to survive. K3 Retail is a shining example that proves organisations can achieve great things during challenging times.

Telfer continued, “Being recognised as an Investor in People is becoming increasingly more important, and the higher the level of accreditation, the better it reflects on your organisation to potential employees, investors and customers. K3 Retail should be extremely proud of their achievement.”
