New fashion talent on the runway at K3 Retail

As K3 Retail’s business continues to go from strength to strength, a heavy weight fashion specialist was required to support the growing stable of fashion brands within K3’s fashion portfolio.  

Peter Duncan-Brown has been brought in as Fashion Sector Specialist, his appointment is the latest development in K3 Retail’s commitment to building a stronger more focussed team with specialist fashion knowledge and expertise.

Peter’s CV reads like a who’s who in the fashion, apparel and accessories sector.  Having spent the past 14 years dedicated to the fashion industry, there’s very little he doesn’t know about the market. And, perhaps more importantly, there’s very little he doesn’t know about how fashion retailers can apply technology to make their lives easier and make their businesses more successful.

“When used well, technology can turn a good retail business into a truly great one,” Peter said. “Good IT systems can help businesses to operate with just ‘one version of the truth’, minimising time spent on miscommunication or time-consuming methods of monitoring and analysis. I am excited by the opportunity I have with K3 to bring the best fashion-focused solution to the market”, he added.

Prior to K3 Retail, Peter was UK and Nordics Sales Director at Centric Software and prior to that at Lectra. Peter’s fashion and technology expertise was developed following a career in the Royal Navy. The Charge Chief Petty Officer toured the world, both above and below the sea aboard ships and submarines. His experience in the services adds another dimension to his role with K3 Retail as he works to ensure all is ‘ship-shape’.
